Registration for ILAS
Complete the University of London International Programmes’s online application form listing all your qualifications. This is available on the University’s website: www.londoninternational.ac.uk/llb. Use the available Guidance Notes also available on the website to complete the application process www.evision.eisa.london.ac.uk
Upon submitting your application form, you will receive confirmation of your User details and a Provisional Student Number. Print this out and bring to ILAS together with all your Documentary evidence (e.g. academic certificates) and one photocopy of each. ILAS will certify copies of your documents. Certification costs TT$50.00 per page.
- (a) O’ Level certificate
- (b) A’ Level certificate/CAPE
- (c) Associate Degree / Diploma / Certificate
- (d) Degree certificate (if applicable)
Alternatively, you can take your documents (and one photocopy of each) to the British High Commission located at 19 St Clair Avenue, St Clair, Port of Spain, Trinidad , Trinidad and Tobago for certification. Contact details: Email email@example.com; Main enquiries – (1) (868) 350 0444. Certification costs TT$50.00 per page. The Commission is open on Tuesdays between the hours of 8:00 am to 11:30 am.
To make payment – pay online using an international credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Electron, JCB) OR make a bank draft in the requisite amount for the application handling fee of £84, payable to “The University of London”. Please note that the application handling fee is valid until the application closing date of October 1, 2016.
Upload your CERTIFIED COPIES of your documents to the University’s website (link: www.enquiries.londoninternational.ac.uk).
Alternatively, you can send via mail (listing your full name (copies of relevant ID documents as stated on your application) and your qualifications), your bank draft (if you did not pay online) to: Admissions Office, University of London International Programmes Ground floor, Stewart House, 32 Russell Square, London WC1B 5DN, United Kingdom. Complete and submit the ILAS Registration Form (attached at the back of this prospectus), the ILAS Registration Fee of TT$1,000.00 (non-GATE funded students: TT$1,500.00) and the following:
- (a) 2 passport sized photographs
- (b) Birth Certificate
- (c) Marriage certificate/Deed Poll (if name changed)
- (d) National ID, Passport OR Driver’s Permit – must be valid.
GATE Clearance (for students accessing GATE funding).
Registration for GATE Funding
Prior to making an online application, you must have:
- A registered GATE eService ID and password.
- A valid email address for receiving notifications (can view status online also).
- Soft copies of:
- Acceptance letter from ILAS
- Electronic Birth Certificate
- One other form of identity document (National ID or Passport) – valid.
- Marriage/Divorce Certificate (if applicable)
- Deed Poll (if applicable)
- Certificate of previous Completed Programme (if relevant)
Complete and submit the online GATE Application form via http://www.e-gate.gov.tt/
Print e-GATE form and bring to ILAS
View, Amend or Re-submit applications when necessary
Obtain approval (GATE Clearance)
Sign GATE agreement at your institution (upon approval)
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR REGISTRATION WITH ILAS CANNOT BE COMPLETED UNTIL YOU HAVE APPLIED FOR GATE USING GATE eService.
Upon acceptance by the University of London International Programmes, students will deal with the University under the guidance of ILAS.
Once accepted by the University of London, the University’s Registration Fee becomes due. The deadline for this fee is November 30th 2016 (unless extended by the University).
